Mr. Maruf is a rising senior student at South Dakota State University and an aspiring computational physicist. He is proficient in programming (C/C++, R), and has working knowledge with such tools as Origin for research data analysis, PDXL2 for XRD data conversion and analysis, and Rhino with V-Ray.

Currently, Abdullah conducts research as an undergraduate research assistant for the Department of Physics and Center for Advanced Photovoltaics and Sustainable Energy. His research was already recognized by his home university and Society of Physics Students; he also has contributed to two research articles and poster presentations.
