Research interests of Dr. Meenakshisundaram broadly cover different areas of theoretical and computational physics. He focuses on nonlinear dynamics and quantum chaos, photonics, biophysics, material discovery, and science/technology education. Dr. Meenakshisundaram is experienced in scientific programming and physics-based simulations (including simulations with the use of such tools as COMSOL, Quantum ESPRESSO, VASP, AMBER, GROMACS, and others).

Presently, Dr. Meenakshisundaram is an Assistant Professor of Physics at Vivekananda College (Madurai, India), where he teaches and works on grant-funded project "Studies on the interplay between Multifractal Eigenstates of Quantum Chaos and Entanglement Spectrum".
