Since 2018, Mr. Saam Hasan conducts research at NSU Genome Research Institute (NGRI), where he applies his skills in biotechnology to identify genetic variants in diseases, perform R and Bash scripting, and contribute to de novo genome assembly and annotation. His professional interests lie at the intersection of bioinformatics and statistical computing. Despite the fact, that Mr. Hasan is on early stages of scientific career, he has already contributed to several research articles (e.g. see his first-author paper).

In addition to his research interests, Mr. Hasan enjoys other activities. For example, from 2016 and 2017 he served as a President of North South University Ethical Awareness Club. Before that (2015-2017), Saam was a debater, praised as a winner of multiple national level championships. Since 2015 Mr. Saam was employed by and as a contributor and freelance content writer, respectively. From 2016 to 2017 he also was a student reporter for his alma mater's newsletter.
