Dr. Somdutt Mujwar is a researcher working in the field of bioinformatics and computational biology with a sound knowledge of pharmaceutical chemistry. His research interests revolves around understanding the pathophysiology of various diseases and drug resistance by the pathogenic micro organisms, as well as development of novel side effect-free lead molecules.

His current project addresses in silico design of riboswitch-based novel inhibitor molecules for various pathogenic microorganisms which can be free from associated side effects as well as development drug resistance by the pathogen. Dr. Somdutt's ultimate goal is to assist the researchers and scientists working in the fields of chemical synthesis and pharmacological testing by optimizing and finalizing the potent lead molecules before being synthesized.

Dr. Somdutt Mujwar holds an appointment of Assistant Professor at Institute of Pharmaceutical Research of GLA University (Mathura, India). The list of his publications can be accessed here.
