Dr. Uzma Asif is an Assistant Professor of Biochemistry at College of Medicine-Jeddah) located in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She is actively involved in teaching and actively participates in teaching, mentoring, and service activities in Medical school. She deeply cares about students by offering them counselling sessions.

Dr. Asif's research interests are broad: biophysics, conformation analysis, drug development, psychosocial issues in medical students, and andragogical methods. One of her most significant research contributions is related to a drug called Febuxostat that acts as Xanthine oxidase inhibitor. Currently, she works on multiple projects, including studies of emotional intelligence, the use of antibiotics, academic burnout, etc.
